Saraceno d'Oro: Reviews & Ratings
I came here twice during my Positano trip because it was that good! We tried the wood-fired pizza, seafood pasta, mussels, and the fried seafood and vegetables — everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff were also very friendly, and I loved the evening vibe. Sitting outside under the lights made for a really scenic and memorable experience.
Absolutely the best restaurant in all of Positano! We loved it so much that we came back three times during our stay. Every meal was exceptional. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The tiramisu? Quite honestly the best we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. The staff made the experience even better. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with that perfect Positano charm. Very special thank-you to the waiters who looked after us We’d come back to Positano just to eat here again. A must-visit if you’re in town!
We thought the food was good. Good atmosphere. Our first encounter with the server, we ordered a limoncello spritz, and a Negroni. We didn’t receive the drinks until we had almost finished our entrées. (We didn’t orders starter dishes). Drinks took an additional 10 minutes after kindly reminding the server. My wife said the pizza was the best she’d ever had. The octopus was tender, but slightly under seasoned. The mashed potatoes were perfectly creamy. For dessert we ordered the lemon sorbet. It was good. Just had to wait several minutes to dip a spoon into it, as the whole unit was a frozen block of ice when it was served to us. I ordered a makers mark on the rocks. I would estimate it to be at least a double pour. I was very happy about that. Maybe you can be a victim of the friendly mistake of a double pour of whiskey :). We highly recommend the restaurant.
Everything we order was delicious. I would highly recommend getting a pizza! It was one of the best I've had. The ingredients are super fresh and you can taste it!
Family-Style Italian Restaurant The restaurant was very busy on the night we visited, and the wait time for food was longer than expected (over 30 minutes). However, the portion sizes were generous, and the food tasted amazing, making it worth the wait. This restaurant is perfect for family and friends looking for a casual environment with great food.
Nice seafood restaurant, cute, decently reachable/central for Positano, I think it's on one the main streets. Everything we ordered as delicious and the service was courteous. I enjoyed my seafood pasta. Was crowded on a Sunday night, but our large group was still accommodated.
